Trapped moisture causing roof timber rot
Why it happens here
Foam sprayed onto the underside of tiles blocks ventilation, so warm moist air from the house condenses on cold timbers. Wellswood's shaded, hilly position keeps roofs damp for longer, speeding up decay.
Our approach
We remove the foam with dry ice blasting or thermal tools, inspect every rafter, and treat any rot with fungicidal wash. Where timber is too far gone, we replace it before the roof is re-insulated.
